domain name registration terms and conditions

We register all domain names in the name provided by a customer at the time of sign up.

UK Domain Registration
Streamline.Net will accept all new registrations onto our system and register them as soon as possible after payment has been processed. However until the domain is showing as registered to the Customer via a WHOIS search we do not guarantee a domain has been secured for a customer.

The domain name registration period runs for two years from the date of registration. After this time period has lapsed registration renewal may be made upon receipt of payment of renewal fees.

Once a registration request has been completed no refunds can be made by Streamline.Net. No refunds can be made if registration attempts have been made by the registrant within 48 hours of attempting to register the domain through Streamline.Net.

Until the registrant receives confirmation of registration from Streamline.Net there is no guarantee that the domain name requested will be registered.

The registrant agrees that all details submitted in respect of a domain name registration are true and correct. The registrant makes certain to Streamline.Net that the registration of a domain name and the way in which it is used (directly or indirectly) does not infringe the legal rights of any third party. Streamline.Net do not accept any responsibility for the use of registered domain names especially where there may be conflict over rights to ownership. The registrant indemnifies Streamline.Net from any legal proceedings and costs that arise as a result of the registration of a domain name.

By registering a .uk domain name, you enter into a contract of registration with Nominet UK on the following terms and conditions. This is a separate contract to any arrangement you may have with any third party (ie streamline.net) for the provision of internet services. Please read before proceeding with your order.

US Domain Registration:
Streamline.Net will accept all new registrations onto our system and register them as soon as possible after payment has been processed. However until either the domain becomes active on our system and/or the domain is registered via a WHOIS search we do not guarantee a domain has been secured for a customer.

Domains Registered before the 18.05.2005 (18th of May 2005)
All domains registered before the 18.05.2005 (18th of May 2005) were registered as 'Streamline.Net (on behalf of a customer)'. These domains are owned fully by the customer relating to the domain within the Streamline.Net database. Proof of this is the account activation e-mail received by the customer and also available in a customers account control panel. If you wish, a domain(s) information can be altered after it has been registered. To do this just let us know, either before or after you have ordered.
